Meet Our Team
Sara, Duke and DanteOwner
Sara is the owner of Talk to the Tail! She can be found floating around every day at Talk to the Tail in Niverville and IDC various times of the day! If she is not at the daycare she is spending time with her partner Tim and incredible step children Arianna and Silvio or meeting with the Niverville Chamber of Commerce as a board member - that's right, this daycare, her family and the community of Niverville is her heart and soul!
Sara has a vast knowledge of dog behaviour and dog language. Not only does she research these things on her spare time, she is always learning from her own dogs! Dogs are not only her job but her hobby. During the time in the industry she has taken upon herself to focus on behavioural challenges in dogs and target where these issues might be coming from and how and where she can help! Working alongside trainers and behaviourists for several years, Sara gained her knowledge by asking questions, monitoring closely and having an open mind on training methods. Positivity training became her guide book and she can often be found walking her dog Duke while training, making him the best dog can be! Duke is her Shepherd cross rescue. He comers from a Saskatchewan rescue, and was the reason Sara got into the dog business. Duke came to her with leash reactivity issues and it has been Sara's mission since day one to learn more about how to make Duke as happy as possible and to curb his excitement! He may not sound happy if you see him on the streets, but really he is just telling you how much he would like to play with your dog - off leash! Duke has not only enriched Sara's life in the most positive way but has showed her that every dog behaviour and and personality trait is something special and something that teaches us so much about life and communication. Dante is Sara's senior Boston Terrier and came into her life when she met Tim - Sara and Dante bonded from the moment they met. Dante has trouble leaving Sara's side - unless you have a tasty treat! Dante is no Boston you have met before! He prefers to treat every day like a rain day and cuddles up to anything he can find - humans, the kid's stuffies, lays on all the pillows and will even burrow himself into blankets. You can find him on our small side of daycare likely napping with one of our volunteers or keeping supervision at the front! Sara has worked in the industry for almost a decade and has made it her mission to learn everything she can about dogs and how to make them happy and prosper. Prior to her time in the dog daycare industry, she managed her own Enterprise Rent-A-Car location in Regina, and upon moving back to Manitoba switched to the Real Estate industry. She always knew something was missing, and found her calling in her first dog daycare position! Here she is today, bringing not only her dog knowledge but business knowledge to bring you Talk to the Tail - Niverville's AND IDC's Daytime Dog Daycare Facility! |

Hannah and DiegoFull Time Dog Daycare Attendant
Hannah may not have had a lot of pets growing up, but ever since her family got their first puppy, she cannot imagine not having a dog running around! She loves every kind of dog and their individual quirks! From their wagging tails, to their cheesy smiles, dogs never fail to make her happy! This position has taught her so much about dog behaviour, how to keep the dogs happy and safe, and she looks forward to continuing learning more and more each day! Hannah can be found socializing with all the dogs when out and about and we love this about her. Hannah has a drive to succeed and learn which makes her a perfect addition to our team. She has already taken extra time to understand and learn all areas of dog body language and this shows when she interacts so flawlessly with your dogs - and they are drawn to her! Hannah is our cuddling extraordinaire, and can always be found petting a pup in daycare or cuddling a little. She is SO popular amongst all the dogs, but the littles love her the most. They are drawn to her calm demeanour and dedication to cuddles!
Diego is Hannah’s senior pup! Although he’s getting old, he still loves playing as much as he did when he was a puppy. He loves car rides and sticking his head out the window, and walks are his all time favourite activity! Hannah loves this dog like crazy and he’s always making her laugh and smile! |
