Talk to the Tail came to fruition because we wanted to provide a safe, clean, fully transparent all inclusive dog daycare for our community. Offering daycare, private and cage free overnight boarding, full grooming services, and ample training options, Talk to the Tail is a home away from home for your dog. We know the importance of comfort, trust and reliability and we are here to provide just that and more. With a small stable staff team, low capacity and constant supervision, you can trust us that your dog will be safe and happy their entire stay with us, no matter the services you require.
We are here to change an unregulated industry from within to provide the best care possible for your dog. We offer a modern and ever changing approach to dog care and training that puts all dogs happiness as number one above all else.
We make the following promise: With interactive photos and detailed reports, you will know exactly how your dog enjoys their day at our facility and leave no question on if daycare is right for them. We offer a open concept play area where you can observe your dog's play with no direct interaction with your dog - we have nothing to hide!
We know that living in a remote community means we need to travel or commute for work, leaving our dogs at home longer than we would like. We offer a beautiful space for your dog to come hang out, play and socialize on those long days away, or even when you need to make a short day trip away from home. It is recommended that dogs not be left alone longer than 8 hours a day, so we are here to keep them company in the best way for them. With our extended hours we are able to accommodate your commute and your dog's daycare needs!
Our fully trained staff will encourage your dog's safety and happiness. They will play games, interact and encourage proper socialization for all dogs in daycare. Our staff ensures that our dogs make use of the outdoor space when needed and will encourage all dogs to do their business in the yard - this will help maintain your house training which is hard enough on its own.
We provide a fully supervised safe space for your dog to come play, socialize and relax with both other dogs and humans. With a low ratio of dogs to humans and low capacity, we are able to get to know each dog personally and on an individual basis - if your dog comes through our door, we will remember their name forever!
NEW! We now offer a three section daycare to accommodate dogs of all sizes, ages and play styles. We commit to separating groups by size every single day, and even have a brand new room for our calm, chill and older dogs who love to interact but do not need all day play. They get the group feel without all the action. We have a space for every friendly dog.
Don't worry! If your pup is young, playful and full of energy, our large room is designed just for them. We encourage our Enrichment Program for all dogs and stays and will be converting to Enrichment Based Daycare and Overnight Boarding for all our dogs come September 2024!
Outdoor time is important to us! Not only do we offer 4 large separate yards for each play space, they are turfed and fully fenced for your dog's safety and enjoyment. We take advantage of our yard once every hour and encourage outside playtime and enjoyment while maintaining house training habits!
