Our Story
Where it all began...
Every great story starts with a dog. For Talk to the Tail's owner Sara Kindzierski, that dog was Duke.
When Duke joined Sara’s life, he brought joy — but also challenges. With his own reactivity issues, Duke needed patience, understanding, and a whole new level of care. Instead of being overwhelmed, Sara leaned in. She studied, listened, and learned everything she could about dog behavior. With the help of a trainer and hands-on experience in dog daycares, she discovered how to read dogs, meet their needs, and help them flourish.
Duke became her greatest teacher. He showed Sara that every dog has their own story, their own quirks, and their own way of communicating. Through him, she realized her true passion wasn’t real estate — it was dogs. That passion sparked the vision that would become Talk to the Tail: a place where every dog receives personalized care, patience, and love.

Our Journey
Talk to the Tail officially began in September 2020, when we opened our first location at 86 Main Street in Niverville. But before that moment, there were months of dedication behind the scenes. We worked with the Town of Niverville to receive conditional use approval in April 2020, and as soon as we had the green light, construction began. From day one, our mission was clear: to create a safe, happy, and enriching space where dogs could thrive and pet parents could feel confident their furry family members were in good hands.
Within months of opening, our daycare was filled with wagging tails, happy faces, and a growing demand for services. By May 2024, we proudly expanded to our new custom-built facility on Wittick Street — a 4,000 sq. ft. space designed entirely with dogs in mind.
This expansion gave us the opportunity to introduce:
-
Enrichment Daycare, a program focused on mental stimulation, learning, and fun beyond play.
-
Private boarding suites — from cozy petite rooms to luxury suites — to give pups a comfortable, stress-free overnight stay.
-
Professional grooming services, making it easier than ever for dogs to go home fresh and fabulous.
Day to Day Care
At Talk to the Tail, dogs aren’t just numbers or bookings on a calendar. They’re individuals with their own quirks, needs, and personalities. A typical day includes structured play, outdoor walks, rest breaks, one-on-one time, enrichment activities, and (of course) lots of snuggles and praise. We believe in balance: fun, exercise, learning, and downtime — all tailored to each dog.

Our Promise
✔️ To provide exceptional care for every dog.
✔️ To be a trusted partner for pet parents.
✔️ To operate with transparency, love, and integrity.
Serving Niverville is more than a business to us — it’s a calling. We love this community, we love the families who trust us, and most of all, we love the dogs who make every day brighter.
Because at the end of the day, Talk to the Tail is about tails wagging, hearts full, and knowing your best friend is cared for like family. 🐾
About Sara

Sara Kindzierski
For Sara, Talk to the Tail isn’t just a business — it’s her baby, her pride and joy. She pours her heart into it every day, often spending nights at the daycare to comfort dogs who are boarding and to make sure every tail is wagging before bed. From celebrating “barkdays” with party hats and photos, to cheering pups on during enrichment games, to tucking dogs in with extra belly rubs, Sara is always there — often behind the camera, always at the heart of the action.
Her own dogs, DJ and Duke, are her world and share in every step — her inspiration, her reason, and her constant reminder of why she does what she does. They’re not just part of her life, they’re woven into the foundation of Talk to the Tail.
When she’s not at the daycare, Sara’s time is filled with her family — Tim, Arianna, and Silvio — who are right alongside her in this journey. Whether it’s helping behind the scenes, sharing in the chaos and the wins, or simply being her support system through it all, they are a huge part of what makes everything possible.
Together, they’ve built more than a facility — they’ve created a second home for every pup who walks through the door.
